The PAROC Hvac Section AluCoat T is a concentrically dimensionally accurate, one-sided slotted tube shell. Laminated with a mesh-reinforced aluminium foil, the pipe shell is easily sealed by a self-adhesive overlap.
With its integrated fire protection and low thermal conductivity (lambda value: 0.035 W/mK), it meets the current EnEV requirements. This makes PAROC Hvac Section AluCoat T particularly suitable for insulating heating and domestic water systems, solar systems and pipelines in technical installations.
In addition, pipe penetration seals with fire resistance classes R30 to R120 that can be verified in accordance with building regulations can be produced.
PAROC rock wool is suitable for particularly high temperatures. Binder volatilisation occurs at temperatures of approx. 200 °C and above. However, the insulating properties remain unchanged with a simultaneous weakening of the compressive stress. The melting point of rock wool is 1000 °C.
