Moulded part for 90° pipe bends, matching the Rockwool mineral wool shell RS800 heating pipe insulation of the same name. Consists of three segments which then form a 90° elbow. Suitable for heating, hot water pipes and much more. The bend does not need to be cut open lengthwise with a sharp knife. We recommend our aluminium tape for this to keep the rock wool clean, permanently in shape and to finish the transitions almost seamlessly.
Areas of application:
Thermal insulation of heating and hot water pipes according to the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV)/from 1.11.2020 according to the Building Energy Act (GEG), solar pipes as well as pipes in operational systems. Furthermore, ROCKWOOL 800 can be used as fire protection cladding of combustible pipelines in escape and rescue routes.
The ROCKWOOL 800 pipe shell is also a component of the Conlit pipe sealing system and is used there as further insulation upstream and downstream of the component penetration.
