Application guidelines:
- CNX S is a contact adhesive and should be applied as a thin, uniform, continuous film to both surfaces to be bonded; approximate use 100-150 g/m2.
- Allow the adhesive to "dry tacky", i.e. it is dry to the touch but tacky when lightly pressed.
- The bonding time or open time for CNX S is typically 15 to 20 minutes at an average temperature of 20 °C.
- Bring the surfaces to be bonded together with firm pressure. Work from the ends to the centre. Process seams and butt joints under pressure.
- CNX S requires 36 hours to fully cure at room temperature and should not be exposed to mechanical stress or an operating temperature of 110 °C until fully cured.
- To prevent evaporation of the solvent, it is strongly recommended to transfer the required amount of adhesive into another container and keep the can tightly closed.
- Read the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) carefully before using CNX S.
Storage Conditions/Shelf Life:
CNX S adhesive has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in the original containers at an
ambient temperature of 10 °C to 30 °C.
